Started in 2001, the .NAME TLD is the single TLD planned for personal websites only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other titles people are popular by. Initially, only third-level registrations were allowed, so if you planned to reserve john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already purchased 3rd-level domains remained running.

Through our company, you can reserve your dot NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will be able to update the WHOIS information, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an active domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer authorization code from the present registrar firm and we will renew it after the transfer has been completed. There are no particular conditions on who can book a dot NAME domain name, but in order to preserve the concept behind its creation alive, the Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain, the registration may be challenged.

The .NAME top-level domain is among the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no further cost. In this way, your .NAME domain will be recognized in your country or area with the precise spelling in your native language.
